FreedInsure LLC is an independent, licensed health insurance brokerage. We are not affiliated with Healthcare.gov, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), or any federal or state government agency. We do not provide Medicare or Medicaid enrollment services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, information collected automatically through your use of our Site, and information from third-party sources as described below.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you submit a form, call us, or otherwise interact with our Services, you may provide:
- Contact information: first name, last name, email address, phone number, mailing address
- Demographic information: date of birth, ZIP code, household size, gender
- Financial information: estimated annual household income, employment status, employer name
- Health information: current insurance status, coverage preferences, tobacco use status, pre-existing conditions (only as voluntarily disclosed for underwriting purposes)
- Insurance-specific information: Social Security Number (only when required for Marketplace enrollment and provided directly to Healthcare.gov, never stored by FreedInsure), policy numbers, carrier names, coverage dates
- Communication records: call recordings (with notice), chat transcripts, email correspondence, text message history
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain technical information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies:
- Device information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type (mobile/desktop), screen resolution
- Usage data: pages visited, time spent on pages, click patterns, scroll depth, referral source (URL that directed you to our Site)
- Advertising identifiers: Google Click ID (GCLID), Facebook Click ID (FBCLID), UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, content, term)

- Analytics providers: aggregated website analytics from Google Analytics and similar services
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
3.1 Providing Insurance Services
- Calculating your ACA subsidy eligibility and premium tax credit estimates
- Comparing health insurance plans available in your ZIP code
- Processing enrollment applications on Healthcare.gov and with private carriers
- Communicating with you about your coverage, plan changes, and renewal options
- Assisting with claims, billing inquiries, and customer service requests
- Providing Form 1095-A assistance and tax reconciliation support

5. Cookies, Pixels & Tracking Technologies
Our Site uses cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience and measure the effectiveness of our services and advertising.
5.1 Types of Cookies We Use
- Essential cookies: Required for the Site to function properly (form submissions, session management). Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics tracks page views, session duration, and user behavior in aggregate to improve our Site. These cookies do not identify you personally.
- Advertising cookies: Google Ads (GCLID), Meta Pixel (FBCLID), and conversion tracking cookies that measure whether our advertising leads to enrollments. Used for retargeting and audience building.
- Preference cookies: Remember your language preference, ZIP code, and form progress so you don’t have to re-enter information.
5.2 Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Site, including form submissions and subsidy calculators. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5.3 Do Not Track
Our Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. However, you can manage your advertising preferences through the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out tool at optout.aboutads.info.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:
- Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our Site is encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS). Sensitive data at rest is encrypted in our databases.
- Access controls: Only authorized personnel with a business need can access your personal information. Access is role-based and logged.
- Infrastructure security: Our Site is hosted on WP Engine with enterprise-grade security, protected by Cloudflare CDN and WAF (Web Application Firewall).
- Vendor security: Third-party service providers are vetted for security practices and bound by data protection agreements.
- SSN handling: FreedInsure does not store Social Security Numbers. When SSNs are required for Marketplace enrollment, they are entered directly on Healthcare.gov by the client or transmitted via secure, encrypted connection and immediately discarded from our systems.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability and in accordance with industry standards.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
7.1 Access & Portability
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. We will provide this information in a commonly used, machine-readable format within 45 days of a verified request.
7.2 Correction
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information. Contact us and we will update our records promptly.
7.3 Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (legal obligations, active insurance policies, ongoing claims). We will honor deletion requests within 45 days and confirm the action in writing.
7.4 Opt-Out of Communications
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message, clicking “unsubscribe” in any email, or calling (844) 788-3733 to be removed from our contact list. Note that opting out of marketing does not affect transactional communications related to an active insurance policy.
7.5 State-Specific Rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, opt out of sale (we do not sell data), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To submit a request, email [email protected] or call (844) 788-3733.
Other state privacy laws: Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), and other states with consumer privacy laws may exercise their rights by contacting us at the information above. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
7.6 Children’s Privacy
Our Site and Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods:
- Active client records: Retained for the duration of your active insurance policy plus 7 years after termination (for regulatory compliance and tax purposes)
- Lead/prospect data: Retained for up to 3 years from last contact, then anonymized or deleted
- Call recordings: Retained for up to 2 years for quality assurance and compliance
- Website analytics: Aggregated analytics data retained indefinitely; individual-level data retained for 26 months
- Advertising conversion data: Retained according to Google and Meta platform policies (typically 90 days for click data)
9. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the FreedInsure website (www.freedinsure.com) and our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Site or Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Description of Services
FreedInsure LLC is a licensed, independent health insurance brokerage that provides the following services at no cost to consumers:
- ACA Marketplace plan comparison and enrollment assistance
- Premium tax credit (subsidy) calculation and eligibility determination
- PPO health insurance plan comparison and enrollment
- Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance comparison
- Life insurance (term, whole, IUL, final expense) comparison and enrollment
- Small group and employer health insurance consulting
- Ongoing member support including claims assistance, billing help, and plan changes
Our Services are compensated by insurance carriers through commissions. You pay the exact same premium whether you enroll through FreedInsure or directly with the carrier or Healthcare.gov. Our service fee to consumers is $0.
11. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services. By using our Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using our Services on behalf of a minor dependent, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian authorized to do so.
12. Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using our Services, including but not limited to income estimates, household size, and personal information. Inaccurate information may result in incorrect subsidy calculations, plan recommendations, or enrollment issues. FreedInsure is not responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate information provided by you.
You understand that subsidy estimates provided by FreedInsure are based on the information you provide and are subject to change based on your actual annual income as reported to the IRS. Premium tax credits are reconciled on your federal tax return using Form 8962.
13. No Medical or Legal Advice
FreedInsure provides insurance brokerage services only. We do not provide medical advice, legal advice, tax advice, or financial planning services. Information on our Site and provided by our advisors is for general informational purposes regarding health insurance options. You should consult appropriate professionals (physicians, attorneys, tax advisors, financial planners) for advice specific to your situation.
Plan descriptions, benefit summaries, and cost estimates on our Site are provided for comparison purposes and may not reflect every detail of a specific plan. Always review the official Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) document before enrolling in any plan.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on the FreedInsure website — including text, graphics, logos, images, icons, software, and design — is the property of FreedInsure LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The FreedInsure name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of FreedInsure LLC.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from our Site without our prior written permission. Limited, non-commercial use of our content for personal reference is permitted provided that you maintain all copyright and attribution notices.
15. Prohibited Uses
When using our Site and Services, you agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Use our Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, databases, or user accounts
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from our Site without written permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our Site or Services

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FREEDINSURE LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OUR SITE OR SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Errors in subsidy calculations or plan recommendations based on information you provided
- Enrollment processing delays by Healthcare.gov or insurance carriers
- Coverage denials or claim disputes with your insurance carrier
- Changes in insurance plan benefits, networks, or premiums by carriers
- Loss of data or unauthorized access resulting from factors beyond our reasonable control
- Interruptions or errors on our Site
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FREEDINSURE (WHICH IS $0 FOR CONSUMER BROKERAGE SERVICES).
17. Disclaimer of Warranties
OUR SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
While we strive to provide accurate plan information and subsidy estimates, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided on our Site or by our advisors. Insurance plan details, premiums, and subsidies are determined by carriers and government agencies and are subject to change without notice.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FreedInsure LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of our Site or Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) inaccurate information you provided to us.
19. Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, including Healthcare.gov, insurance carrier websites, and educational resources. These links are provided for convenience only. FreedInsure does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites. You access third-party sites at your own risk.
20. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact FreedInsure at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
21. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) Consent
By submitting a form on our Site, calling our phone number, or otherwise providing your phone number to FreedInsure, you expressly consent to receive the following communications from FreedInsure LLC and its licensed agents:
- Phone calls (including calls using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded/artificial voice)
- Text messages (SMS and MMS)
- Email communications
These communications may relate to health insurance options, enrollment assistance, plan updates, open enrollment reminders, account servicing, and promotional offers for insurance products. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
21.1 Opting Out
You may revoke your consent at any time through any of the following methods:
- Text: Reply “STOP” to any text message from FreedInsure
- Phone: Call (844) 788-3733 and request removal from our contact list
- Email: Send an email to [email protected] with subject line “Opt Out”
Opt-out requests are processed within 10 business days. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional messages related to an active insurance policy (e.g., renewal reminders, payment confirmations, coverage changes).
21.2 Consent Is Not a Condition of Service
Providing consent to receive calls and texts is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product or receiving our brokerage services. You may request to communicate exclusively via email or through our website without providing phone consent.
